🤲 UX Career Tip #3: Respect your stakeholders

It's easy to think of stakeholders as selfish "evil" who don't care about users' needs. They often demand and expect things that are not aligned with the perfect experience you envisioned.

And this is OK. Even more, this is the way it should be. It's their job to be thinking of the business side. And it's your job to find the best possible UX to achieve the business goals. It is not to design some fictitious solution that can ignore the needs of the business. Unless you work for a non-profit, but even then, they have their goals and objectives (donations, sign-ups, readers, exposure, etc.)

Show your stakeholders some love, they are not evil 😉

PS well, some of them might be, but it's when they are evil as people, not just stakeholders 😆
